FITZ, Ed (D) USAF
FOSTER, Bruce US NAVY June, 1957 (Note: Hi Ed, Adding to your military list: You have David Stegman listed as a career USAF, this may all be well and true, but Dave and I enlisted in the Navy in June of 57. We went to Great Lakes Training for boot camp. Afterwards, Dave requested sea duty on the West coast, and I requested shore duty on the East coast. True to military logic, I received sea duty on the West coast, and Dave went to shore duty in Texas. I saw him a couple of times after that but I lost contact with him. He might have served one hitch in the Navy and then went to the Air Force, I'm not sure, but I do know he started in the Navy. As for Ron McPherson, I was standing Shore Patrol duty one night in Hong Kong and I do believe I ran across him. He was in no shape to remember me but I do remember helping him to get back on board the liberty boat. At least, I think it was Ron. Hell, I can't even remember what I had for breakfast this morning!! Hope this adds to the military list accurately. Good Luck. Bruce Foster)
